Samaj Prabodhan Sansthas Shri.Namdev Chandrakant Raut has truly long traditional of over twenty five years.Samarth school , Samarth junior college ,Rokdeshwar madhyamik vidyalaya ,Bharati public school higher institute with the reformers of his times who were keep on taking education to the doorstep of the socially disadvantaged social group,farmers,landless labours and other hard working in the rural areas. On such institute chandrabhama mahvidyalaya at karjat,which is knows as newest Pandhari of maharashtra.
Established way back in 2018,with the coopration of fellow this is college has carved its name today.the number of students has risen to 327 today. It was here in this drought-prone area,only a few student used to get there degree.
Today the college offers courses right from grade degree level the department of Marathi,Hindi,English,Politics,History ,Chemistry,Botany,Zoology and Physics impart post-graduate courses.
The New National Education Policy 2020 has put forward the formula of ‘Interdisciplinary Education’ ‘value Education’and ‘Skill Education’ The college,identifiying the steps of the time,has put forward the objective that every passing student should acquire at least onw skill from short term career-oriented courses.
Eco-friendly campus is the asset of the college. It especially aims at keeping the college premises naturally beautiful and clean.We have developed a vermicomposting project in the premises for disposal of waste.We regularly conduct green audit,energy audit,environmental audit.The college has received quite a good number of nominations.
